"Swansea are a good footballing side, but the players worked extremely hard and I thought we were unlucky not to get a goal. We've done as good a job on them as anybody this season.

"Some of the football we played was excellent - particularly in the second half - and their goalkeeper had to pull off some great saves.

"We're probably safe but it's still mathematically possible for us to go down so we'll keep going.

"I thought Luke Varney was excellent. His movement was good and he hung in the air well."

Roberto Martinez

"We had long spells of possession, but the final pass let us down. I thought that a draw was probably a fair result.

"I was very pleased with the attitude of the players on a very difficult pitch and overall the performance was what we needed.

"At least now we have a break to give the players a rest, ready for the final push. I'm excited about the next six games."
