Roberto Martinez believes the Swans have very little margin of error from now on in

The Swans boss takes his side to Ninian Park this weekend for what is probably to be the final Welsh Derby at the ground and believes that his side ha very little room for error as they prepare for the final half dozen league matches.

Speaking to BBC Sport, Roberto said "I think the position we are in, we need to finish this season very, very strong if we are going to have a chance to compete in the play-offs

"If you look at the 18 points left in the campaign and we've got very little margin of error if we want to get to the points tally that we hope is going to give us a play-off place.

"But in a way, I want it that way because it's different when you are in the play-off places and you are just hoping to get in the play-offs.

"I think the break has done us the power of good and the boys are training with big smiles on their faces, which is a good sign," said the Spaniard.

"Now we've got a mini league of six games to go, starting with a Welsh derby at NinianPark.

"But we must remain focussed and set the standard for the five games after Cardiff.

"But I think the players are ready to go into the sort of environment they'll face at Ninian Park.

"It's one of those games where we have to be 100 per cent because those small details count."
