Swans Reject £3.5 Million Bid For Bodde ?

Swansea City have turned down a £3.5 million bid from Bolton for Dutch midfielder Ferrie Bodde, The Sun reports.

The Greater Manchester club have already seen a offer of around £2.5 million rejected by Swans chairman Huw Jenkins turned down. Speculation over the future of the Delft born midfielder has been growing over the last few weeks, so much so crunch talks were held between Paulo Sousa and the midfielder last week.

Deemed as a successful discussions, the 27 year old is currently back in his homeland in his final phase of rehabilitation before commencing pre-season training on the weekend.

Confirming that he and representative from Bolton had a further conversation about Bodde, Jenkins has insisted that it did not go further, he said, “I did have a conversation with them but it didn't go any further than that, “

Bodde is also due to meet with clinician who operated on his knee at The Lister Hospital in London last November.
