Alan Tate goes into the weekend action knowing that a yellow card could keep him out of the Cardiff match

The Swansea City vice captain has got four yellow cards to his name and knows that one more booking this weekend at Scunthorpe and he will be forced to sit out the game at the Liberty against Cardiff City on November 7.

But he insists that the thought of that will not be on his mind and he looks to help his team mates secure another three points on the road at Glanford Park.

Speaking to the Evening Post, Tate said "Of course it's on your mind when you are on four bookings, but it will just be one of those things if it happens

"It's something I've been thinking about with the Cardiff game and the Newcastle game coming up, but if it does happen it's just unlucky.

"I won't go into Scunthorpe thinking about it.

"I won't be shying away from tackles or anything like that, you know that's not me.

"It's a tough place to go," Tate added.

"We've drawn a couple of times up there, but we lost on my debut and I also got sent off there once.

"They are having a good season and the crowd get right on top of you if they are going well."
