Nigel Pearson felt his side had done enough to earn at least a point at the Liberty

Pearson saw his side beaten 1-0 by Swansea City thanks to Gorka Pintado's first half goal but believed after the game that they had done enough to at least come away with a point

He told the official Leicester website "It is disappointing not to get anything out the game but in all honesty we didn't pass the ball well enough or show enough quality and consequently we found ourselves on the end of a defeat.

"I thought the players worked tremendously hard through out the game, even in the first half when they passed it particularly well but when you win the ball back you have to pass it better than we did. Our problem in the first half was that we couldn't retain possession well enough but that is credit to them as well.

"In the second half we made life more difficult for them and I think we actually caused them a few more problems but it was a game of very few chances. They had one shot on target all day and scored and that is a reflection of the game, We didn't show enough quality at key times.

"We have always got a strong bench so whoever is on the bench I am confident they can make an impact. They did okay but we didn't force an equaliser so it is still disappointing.

"We are still well placed, we have come a long way and I know that over the course of the season we will play well and on other days we won't play well so I have to have a balanced view. It is a tight league and we were always in the game today."
