Four Week Absence For Gower Thursday, 21st Oct 2010 06:12 Mark Gower has been ruled out of action for up to four weeks The Swansea City midfielder has been a revelation this season in a new central midfield role but results from his hamstring tear say that he will now be missing for up to four weeks. Gower underwent a scan this week and results from that scan have confirmed a Grade Two scan on his hamstring with the absence now estimated. Gower sustained the injury in last week's victory at Reading and will miss key fixtures over the next month including Wigan in the Carling Cup and almost certainly the derby against Cardiff on November 7.
