Brendan Rodgers is looking to bring in his new keeper by the time his squad leaves for Austria next week

And the Swansea City manager refused to rule out a move for Nottingham Forest keeper Lee Camp after press speculation at the weekend suggested that the Swans had already opened the bidding for him.

Brendan currently only has one goalkeeping option on his books in Jose Moreira with David Cornell looking set to leave on a season long loan and Yves Ma-Kalambay having left the club at the expiry of his contract.

Rodgers told the Evening Post "Lee Camp is a top player who's gone on to be Northern Ireland's No.1, but I don't want to speculate about a guy that's already signed with another club.

"I'm talking to other clubs. I would like to have something in place before next weekend, that would be the ideal.

"But with the way we play it's important we get the right player for our system.

"But I'm very confident the one we do get will be able to help the team to continue to play as we do."
