Brendan Rodgers is confident that Leon Britton will return at Carrow Road this weekend

Britton sat out the game against Stoke through an injury picked up against Chelsea but the Swansea manager expects him to return this weekend as the team look for their first road points of the season

Rodgers told the Evening Post "All being well Leon will be ready for Norwich

"He has responded well to treatment and we will see how he goes over the next few days.

"He will be a good option for us, although we are not going to complain about the injury problems we've had.

"I have got honest players with quality and, whatever team I put out, they will always do their best.

"We are in good shape," he said.

"The players have given everything this season.

"They have had a little rest now which will be good for them.

"They come back remotivated and re-energised ahead of our next batch of games."
