Cousins Joins Dagenham Monday, 23rd Jun 2014 13:50 Keeper Mark Cousins has left the U's to join Dagenham & Redbridge. The U'sual reported the League Two side's interest in the player over the weekend, after they had released their first choice goalie and were linked with signing him as a replacement. And now the move has been confirmed, with Cousins joining the Daggers on a two-year deal. The 27-year-old will not have to wait long to face the U's, with a http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/colchesterunited/news/35152>pre-season friendly at Victoria Road planned for Saturday 26th July. His departure leaves the U's without back-up for Sam Walker, having released third choice keeper Shaun Phillips at the end of the season.
