Dyer's Training Sharpness Impresses Leicester

We have known for some time that the training regime at Swansea is a thorough and complete one with Garry Monk often talking about the conditioning that the players have which has seen us in such good stead since he took over.

Monk has always prepared his team for every game with precision detail and it can certainly be linked with our excellent form over his time as manager which saw us finish in a best ever 8th place last season and such a good start to the season.

He has worked hard to get his team prepared in the way that he wants them and nobody can argue about the results that it is generating for the team despite last Saturday's set back at Watford.

That training regime also benefited one of our Premier League rivals this week when Nathan Dyer started his loan spell at Leicester with the winning goal as they came back from 2-0 down to beat Aston Villa on Sunday.

And it is the training sharpness of Dyer that has impressed new teammate Marc Albrighton "He has looked sharp in training already considering he hasn't had too many games back at Swansea

"He will be a massive part of what we are doing here. It will be a massive season for him and us. There are places up for grabs and that is football. We are a squad, a team, and you need that in the Premier League.

"If he is playing one week and I am on the bench then I will be right behind him. Vice-versa I am sure he will be the same."
