To Hull And Back - Cup Fever Time Again
Monday, 21st Sep 2015 07:00 by Planet Swans (follow us on Twitter @swansnews)

It's a break from the Premier League this midweek for the Swans as they take what we hope to be another step on the way to Wembley with the Third Round of the Capital One Cup and a trip to Hull City.

After easing past York in the last round, it is Championship Hull next up for the Swans and it will be interesting to see how we approach this game.

Maybe it is just me but I cannot see the Swans making eleven changes as we did in the last round although I do expect to see a significantly changed side from the one that started against Everton on Saturday.

This game of course will promise to be much tougher for Hull were in the Premier League last year and reached the FA Cup final the season before last so are certainly no mugs.

For many the Capital One Cup remains a distraction that they can do without at this time of the season but we know what it is like to go all the way in the competition and I would dearly love to see us do it again.

It will also be nice to get back to winning ways following the last two games and having drawn a blank goal wise in both of them then we will want to change that bit as well and start scoring goals again.

I have to say - as I said last round - that this competition gives us a great chance to ensure that as many as possible get game time action although that shouldn't mean we make changes for the sake of it , we should certainly go in with the belief that we can win this tie.

It will be interesting to see what happens.
