West Ham Have Injury Crisis Ahead Of Saints Game
Friday, 23rd Sep 2016 14:01

They are not very "Appy Ammers" in the East End at the moment after a bad start to the season and now it has got worse with more injury blows.

West Ham are likely to be without a recognised left back when they take on Saints on Sunday, there first choice Aaron Cresswell is out with a long term injury and now his replacement Arthur Masuaku a £6 million signing from Olympiacos is out for six weeks with a knee ligament injury.

That means that they will have to make contingency plans on the left perhaps switching one of their right backs, either Alvaro Arbeloa or Sam Byram or playing either a youth player or someone completely out of position.

This is a problem with West Ham's defence leaking goals left right and centre having conceded four per game in their last two outings and three in the game before that, so this news is not great for Slaven Bilic as he looks to solve his problems at the back.

Add to the two left back injuries and Saints fans will also be glad to hear that Andy Carroll, so often a thorn in our side will also be missing as will Summer signing Andre Ayew and fellow forward Diafra Sakho.

However central defender Winston Reid is set to return.

Saints go to North London looking for their first win of the season on the road and indeed their first point, from this viewpoint it is a game that looks there for the taking, although this is not always a good sign for Saints supporters from experience.

Umm .... North London or East London? It is North of The Thames but so was Upton Park and is closer to the old ground than to Arsenal or Spurs. Just doesn;t seem right, saying Norf London relating to those cheeky chirpy pearly cockney pr!cks.

We owe them for last season.
Played them off the park yet they fluked a win and were truly dire.
I like bilic mind but as for their owners.
Feck em.

I have been around long enough to be wary of teams that have had poor spells or have so called injury crisis and compare this article to the goals per shots ratio of our team. Hopefully though, we can take advantage and carry on what has been a good last week or so.

Like said above we owe these phukers . Not only for the defeat at theirs last season but the way payet or whatever his name is and his mates got wanyama sent off at Stmarys . Bad tackle ? Yes . Did he touch him ? Hardly , certainly not Worth the triple salko the little Kunt used in the aftermath with noble holding an imaginary red card and telling him to send him off .
So we owe them a thrashing ,with hopefully goals throughout the team and a long hattrick which will get his confidence back . Coyr
