Hull 2 Swansea City 0 - Swans Exit FA Cup

The Swans exited the FA Cup at the first possible opportunity this afternoon as a two late goals from the home side were enough to end our involvement in this season's competition.

Hernandez struck soon after Ki struck the post in an attempt to give the Swans the lead and it proved to be the decisive strike as Paul Clement's first full game in charge ended in defeat for the new manager.

A stoppage time goal right at the depth from Tymon sealed the win in front of a paltry crowd of just 6000.

The old view now that we can concentrate on Premier League safety will ring true as Clement has a week to prepare for the visit of Arsenal and the important task now of securing Premier League points that can lift us up the table.

Having named a reasonably full strength side for the game we could possibly have expected more but with the ever disappointing Borja Baston up front we allowed the home side to keep a first clean sheet for 22 games - the last one they kept was at the Liberty back in August.
