West Ham Target Sigurdsson Move
Friday, 13th Jan 2017 22:50 by Planet Swans (follow us on Twitter @swansnews)

The Daily Express is reporting that West Ham are eyeing up a move for Gylfi Sigurdsson as they face up to the fact that sulking star Dimitri Payet is likely to leave them for pastures new before the transfer window is out.

Slaven Bilic has said that he will not pick Payet after revealing that the spoilt one has gone on strike and refused to play for the club after West Ham turned down a £20m from Marseille for their star attraction of last season.

Interestingly the paper is also saying that they may also look to Chelsea with another move for Michy Batshuyai who has been linked with a move to the Swans this season.

Sigurdsson has already been the subject of speculation over a move to Everton this window although the Swans insist that there has been no contact from anyone for their players.

The paper speculates that Sigurdsson is the man singled out to replace Payet should the Frenchman get his own way (which is likely) and have the green light for a move away from the London Stadium.

Paul Clement yesterday stated that he had no desire to see Sigurdsson leave the club and he certainly wont get any argument from us on that front as Gylfi is key to our side and there is no way we should look to sell.

Look elsewhere Slaven
