Diego Poyet, the former West Hame player is a reported target for both Hull City and the Swans with the rumours surfacing that we are interested in completing a deal for the player who had his contract cancelled last summer.

Poyet, son of Gus Poyet impressed in the Championship when he was at Charlton and that persuaded West Ham to take a chance on the player but he made just 3 first team appearances for the club and was released after just two years.

He has been without a club since that release and it would be surprising to see that the Swans were in for this kind of player who does not seem to fit any bill In terms of what we need or indeed the kind of player who could lift us away from the relegation zone.
