Swans Linked With Huddersfield Midfielder

There are increased press reports suggesting that the Swans are plotting a move for £10m rated Huddersfield midfielder Philip Billing.

Several media outlets are reporting this one today (and I guess you can add this one to it now!) but again it seems likely that this could be another one of those stories that has some truth to it but only if the move of Sigurdsson to Everton goes through.

You have to wonder with the excellent acquisition of Roque Mesa to our midfield whether Billing would be interested in coming and being part of what could be squad rotation but with Gylfi likely to be replaced by several players and not just one there could be some truth in this.

Signed from Esbjerg in his native Denmark in 2013, the 21-year-old first broke into the Terriers' first team in 2015/16 and has since made 42 appearances for the Yorkshire outfit.

There was criticism from manager David Wagner early on last season that his attitude left something to be desired. He won young player of the year at the club for the second season running and also the goals of the season for his effort against Cardiff City in November.
