Macauley Bonne out of the running
Thursday, 1st Oct 2020 11:33

Charlton striker, the impressive Macauley Bonne has been removed from Andy Scott’s list of potential incoming transfers as the new and impressive third strip is announced.

QPR have this morning made a third and final bid in excess of a million pounds for Bonne who in a struggling side scored eleven goals in thirty three games for Charlton last season. Swansea City were interested in the 24 year old but the fee will almost certainly mean Swansea will look elsewhere. As the initial transfer deadline on Monday nears closer and Coopers desire to get his business done this latest news will not please him, however he is fully aware of the tight constraints on the club and has conceded Bonne at this time is off the radar and will be left home alone. Cooper, Marsh, CEO Winter and Scott met yesterday to push forward their targets and thrash out a strategy to get Coopers desired players in to the club. As reported yesterday that decision is down to Winter and Winter alone.

The new Swansea City third kit is out !
Available from today the third kit is an impressive design and could easily outsell the first and second strips, as featured the top has ‘Jack Army’ on the collar and Is highlighted very similar to the Swansea Independent’s new colour scheme which came out last week. What an incredible coincidence. Sales online have been steady this morning and It is expected the swans may wear the strip for the first time at Coventry City on October 20th after the international break.
