As we reported earlier in the week Swansea City are hard at work trying to secure a loan signing which will be seen as a boost to the current squad dynamic. Two players were in the mix to be signed, and one should be confirmed by Monday at the latest. The other player we believe isn’t going to happen at this time.

The players position or details are being kept under wraps, however we do believe he could provide a significant advantage to Steve Coopers options when the season kicks off. The departure of Matt Grimes, if that happens has got no further forwards, and no firm offers have been received as yet. The only thing keeping the next player coming in is paperwork, and a few technicalities as we reported ( first ) last season when Conor Hourihane joined the swans from Aston Villa. Sometimes these things don’t happen to order, and even a loan signing takes days to complete, it isn’t just a case of getting in his car and driving to Swansea, in fact in this guys case it’s impossible.
