The fee for Steve Cooper to join Nottingham Forest is nowhere near the amount speculated by other less informed journals today. Figures of 3 or 4 million are way off the mark as the leaving package agreed with Steve Cooper was adjusted realistically when he left the club after the Plymouth friendly pre season.

Cooper agreed to leave Swansea City but he was to be paid monthly on his agreed contract until next May ( 2022) That was until he was appointed elsewhere when those payments would cease and a compensation levied against his employers of around 1.3million. It isn’t nailed on Cooper would get the Forest job, fans of the midlands club are far from happy at the speculation, and many swans fans will agree he isn’t the type of manager to turn things around.

However Coopers salary demands won’t be that high and shouldn’t exceed any more than 12k a week if other sources are to be believed. Let’s see then folks, for us we hope he joins, we may need a few quid come January if we are still looking for our first home win. Don’t rub your hands too much yet though Julian Winter, there’s far better out there who can save Nottingham Forest’s season.
