Alan Tate to leave Swansea City to link up with Steve Cooper at Forest
Tuesday, 21st Sep 2021 09:50 by David Cornish

Alan Tate will join the coaching team at Nottingham Forest with Steve Cooper as his boss this week. Tate has found it difficult to settle into Russell Martin’s ethos and mindset at Swansea over the last six weeks or so.

Cooper left the swans in the summer, news which we broke here in early June. He compensation we now hear has been negotiated down to around £600k to secure the services of Cooper and Tate. It was clear late last week that Martin had little room for Tate’s contribution within the coaching set up making it clear he had to find another role within the club. Tate found himself as a ‘scout’ come ‘loan player’ link last week and was pictured at Leicester City with Brendan Rodgers.

More news as we get it.
