It seems the swans have gone about their business well despite all the issues surrounding two key players in the past eighteen days or so. We have been advised a new signing is coming in, but have been asked to tone down the details until it is announced by the club.

It wouldn’t surprise us here if it is a loan signing, and it’s the player from outside the U.K. who was of interest a few days ago. We withheld the details then for obvious reasons. It could well be the club have pulled off a bit of a coup. We have to say if, and we do repeat ‘if’ the plans behind the scenes go smoothly. In any event what we do know this evening is that we are on the brink of a new player coming into the club. It isn’t done yet, but we are told “It’s as close as can be” and Russell Martin is extremely happy with the addition.

This new signing should be in the city tomorrow afternoon if all goes to plan. We have to beware of any breach of confidence on this and will as always update the website when we get more. And apologies for not breaching confidences, it’s not what we do.
