We reported the possibility of an overseas player potentially signing for Swansea City yesterday, and it transpires today that the player is going to be in the City later today. Swans staff travelled to France to finish paperwork and pick up Wolf yesterday.

The player has been in France to do basic tests, he is currently on the books of German club Borussia Mönchengladbach and is valued at around eight million pounds. Wolf has previously played for RB Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg. It’s quite a coup and as we reported yesterday Russell Martin is delighted with the signing. We expect an official announcement in the next twenty four hours. The signing is expected to be on loan.
