Swansea City new kit launch : Our History. Our Future. Our Way.
Thursday, 16th Jun 2022 11:05 by Swans Indie Staff

The new swans kit has been launched this morning by the club, and already views are split on its look and design. However the official site seems proud of the hard work that has gone in to this new kit so let’s have a closer look.

Flynn Downes is seen above ‘modelling’ the new strip and some fans will see that as reassuring as to his continued involvement at Swansea City next season. The official site explain the choices of colours and the reasons behind them. “ The designs are a blend of the three key elements of what it means to be a Jack. A strong pride in the rich history and heritage of our club and city, a desire for a bright, successful, sustainable future, and a strong identity that will see us do things our way – the Swansea Way – on the field under head coach Russell Martin and his staff”

Our History. Our Future. Our Way. Ein Hanes. Ein Dyfodol. Ein Ffordd.

As ever the club strives to make it clear the Welsh language and the wider swans support plus local businesses are not forgotten. “As has been the case in recent seasons, two local businesses feature on the kit. Westacres will feature on the front of the shirt for the first time, while Swansea Building Society will again adorn the rear of the shirt having done so during the 2020-21 campaign”

What is your opinion on this latest strip, the purple is definitely a surprise, and for us the all white strip is exactly what we as the premier and best supported club in Wales desire. It signifies our roots and appeals to our international support all in one go.

The official site has a link for you to order the new strip.
