Jamie Paterson has signed a new contract at Swansea City that will keep him at the club until 2024. A delighted Jamie agreed his terms whilst the swans are at Pennyhill Park in Surrey for the week.

With nine goals and nine assists last season Paterson now can relax as his contract issues most certainly affected him during January and February. Russell Martin is delighted at the completion of the talks.

“I think it’s a really big signing for us - it almost feels like a new signing,” said head coach Martin. “I think he deserves it, it’s a reward for his willingness to take onboard new ideas. He’s really important in the dressing room in terms of his character, and the energy he has. He's going to be part of the plan over the next couple of years which will be important for him because when he feels comfortable and has a sense of belonging, he plays his best football. I think we’ll see the best of him and I’m really excited about it."
