Swansea City ticket allocation increased for Oxford cup game
Monday, 8th Aug 2022 15:20 by Swans Indie

Swansea City have received an extra one hundred and fifty tickets for tomorrows League Cup game at the Kassam Stadium. Despite recent performances not inspiring the Jack Army it seems their devotion to following their team has not as yet seen a drop in numbers. Selling out their initial allocation is proof of that.

However, don’t be too put off by the late allocation of tickets as Oxford United have agreed to allow pay on the gate access for swans fans without tickets. And that won’t come with a premium. The standard adult ticket rate is the the same as the pay on the day cost of £15. The pricing for this fixture is Adult - £15, Over-65s - £10, Under-21s - £10, Under-18s - £10, Under-13s - £5, Under-7s - £5.

If you want to purchase a ticket they are available from the club until noon tomorrow, any tickets not picked up by then will be sent on to Oxford United to pick up before kick off. Once again the Jack Army are travelling in decent numbers for what is at this stage of the season a fixture of lesser importance than the Blackpool away game this coming Saturday. The swans support locally in the area is well known as being fairly large, especially around Oxford, Gloucester and Bristol. Russell Martin is already coming in for criticism as a result of the dreadful showing on Saturday in the home defeat to Blackburn Rovers.

It’s early days we know, but a performance and some heart in the clubs shirt is required on Tuesday night, and Russell Martin needs nothing less than a victory, or the dissenting voices will most certainly get louder.
