Two more Swansea City players confirmed to leave this week
Wednesday, 10th Aug 2022 08:00 by Swans Indie

After a summer of speculation it has been decided that Kyle Joseph and Jordon Garrick will leave the club on loan for the rest of this season. The two fast attacking players who also have some experience at wing back will move on this week. Reports elsewhere are also confirming this.

Kyle Joseph will now almost certainly join Oxford United and Jordon Garrick will make yet another loan move from the swans to Lincoln City. The latter deal requires a bit more work but both will be on their way this week we understand. Under the guidance of Oxford boss Karl Robinson, Joseph will play a similar system to that he is used to at Swansea. Garrick who has spent a number of loans away from the swans at Plymouth and Swindon is expected to sign for Lincoln now formal talks are underway.

Jordon Garrick is expected to leave for Lincoln City

Garrick had a very decent time at Plymouth last season and was well liked by the supporters. His contract will expire at Swansea next summer. Joseph was recalled from his loan spell at Cheltenham in January where he too enjoyed a successful time at Whaddon Road. With the swans still looking for pace to be introduced in to the first team and these two having it in abundance we all hope those qualities have been sourced by the swans before the transfer window ends. Morgan Whittaker, Kyle Joseph and Jordon Garrick are not required by Russell Martin this season. And there is also speculation Brandon Cooper has attracted the interest of two clubs in league one and league two.

Later in the day we will analyse the latest responses to yet another disappointing night for Russell Martin and Swansea City after their exit from the League Cup on penalties to League one Oxford United. But that is going to require a lot more thought, time and effort to do our readers justice and the nigh on nine hundred Swansea City fans who travelled to last nights game.

A lot more.
