Despite the hope before the game it was an expected result again at the Swansea.com stadium for Russell Martin. A toothless second half after what can only be described as an okay first period was met with resounding boo’s on the final whistle. For all the effort and passing the game ended negatively for Swansea City.

Russell Martin reacted to the booing at the end of the game. "It doesn't affect me, but it affects the team. The senior lads, we don't have many of them, but they said how you react to these types of moments will define you as a footballer because there's so many tough moments. We've spoken a lot about it. We're really honest with each other. But speaking about it and overcoming it is really different, so we have to try and help them overcome it. They're trying their very best, we just need something to spark us back into life and get that confidence back."

If a bit of feedback like the booing the players witnessed tonight is an issue your in for a shock if these performances continue. Booing ? That’s just the start.

Maybe the players should have a think about those who will rise for work this morning in the dark then working as many hours as possible to pay the bills ? Maybe as well understand that in some cases a Swansea players wages for a week and a half is actually the same as some fans yearly wage. Don’t come over all victimised. Swansea City pay your wages, the supporters of this club contribute to that and they can have their say - and if it’s as you witnessed last night then get over it. That’s nothing we can assure you.

Stop your bleating Swansea City players and also get to grips with the fact Luton Town on Saturday is a sold out away end. Your fifteenth in a poor league and haven’t manned up all season bar a few moments. Apparently you are more concerned about yourselves and what happens to you in the summer. Well, here’s a thing - if you don’t like it at Swansea then do one, you have hardly performed all season and now it’s a problem ? Don’t make your situations any worse at our club, or the clubs situation any worse with your petty complaining. You don’t know you’re born.

Because we don’t need weak minded, selfish, crying footballers wearing a Swansea City shirt.
