TEAM NEWS Oliver Ntcham facing late fitness test as is Liam Walsh : Swans v Preston
Wednesday, 19th Apr 2023 16:43 by Swansea Independent

Swansea City could be without two influential players this evening if late fitness tests prove to be negative this afternoon. That leaves the Swans with a potential starting midfield of Jay Fulton, Matt Grimes, Ollie Cooper, Joe Allen, Jamie Paterson or Luke Cundle to choose from before tonight’s game at the Swansea.Com Stadium.

Ryan Lowe the Preston head coach has no new injury concerns as his side look to take all the points to push themselves in to the play offs this evening. Preston have only won once in twenty visits to Swansea and that was in 2021. Before that it was 1961.

This game will come too soon for PNE’s Ali McCann, while North End will also be without Alan Browne, Ched Evans, Emil Riis and Greg Cunningham. Lowe can expect to choose from the same squad as he had for the defeat at Millwall. Liam Delap is another welcome return for the Lillywhites.
