The Potters take on the Swans this evening, kick off 7:45pm at the Bet365 stadium. Swansea have an extremely poor record away to Stoke but they are struggling in the league, bottom over the past six games, so it’s a decent opportunity for more progress under Alan Sheehan.

We covered the match day extra for this game this morning here.

⚽️ New name in the frame

The big thing has to be can the Swans turn their excellent possession stats into goals, that has been the main frustration to date. It’s noticeable that U21 right back, Sam Parker was included in the squad for last weekends game at Rotherham United. He didn’t feature on the pitch but his inclusion displays concern over Josh Key. On the link above we have covered that issue.

Stoke Sentinel : Keeper, Jack Bonham had to step out of Stoke's match against Sheffield Wednesday after reporting ill on Friday night, bad enough to need assessment in hospital. He has been checked over and will be hoping for the all clear to be in contention for selection under caretaker manager Paul Gallagher this evening. Tommy Simkin, who had turned 19 on Friday, remains on standby after making his first team debut on Saturday. A boyhood national karate champion, wrote on social media: "Not the result we wanted yesterday but very special feeling to have made my debut for this club."
