Swans U21 through to the Nathaniel MG Cup final
Wednesday, 3rd Jan 2024 22:34 by Andy Concannon

Thoughts are elsewhere at this moment in time, new head coach, staff and transfers obviously taking precedence in people’s minds. However, we shouldn’t ignore the tremendous efforts of the age grade side in this seasons League Cup.

Swansea City U21 went through to the final in this competition after a 0-0 draw over the ninety. Remy Michell was smothered by his team mates after coming good in the penalty shoot out. Both sides hit the woodwork during the game, but as they did against Cardiff City the Swans held their nerve to win the tie.

The visitors did have a goal ruled offside, but overall the dominance in what was a real battle at Fairwood in front of a decent crowd went with the Swans. They will play TNS who had their tie rained off tonight against Guilsfield.

Thanks for all the offers and photographs from tonight. We are after all The Indy.
