TEAM NEWS : Swansea City v Leeds United LATEST **

There’s injuries aplenty for the Swans and Leeds United have plenty in reserve. Connor Roberts hasn’t made his full debut yet, Archie Gray is keeping him out currently. Since his selection on the bench for Leeds aged fifteen back in 2021 he has flourished. The Gray family legacy at Leeds is phenomenal. Wilfried Gnonto Is a conundrum for manager Daniel Farke. He may play.

Georginio Rutter, Crysencio Summerville and Patrick Bamford Are expected to start.

The Swans, and no we are not going through the many injuries will look to Liam Cullen up front, two wide men in Ronald and Placheta could start again. However, Charlie Sagoe JR is yet to make his full debut. Jamie Paterson is fit and is expected to start. If Luke Williams goes with any other option than Matt Grimes and Jay Fulton loud bells will ring out across Swansea Bay. However, this is possibly a game where Fulton can influence, he just needs to work on his concentration throughout the game. And mind the yellow cards, he has had six this season, one less than Ben Cabango.

Swansea are waiting on Kyle Naughton. More on him later as Bashir Humphreys is waiting in the wings to replace him. Ben Cabango and Nathan Wood will be the centre backs with Josh Tymon out left. Carl Rushworth will be selected in goal.

Josh Tymon, star man on Saturday against Hull

That’s as best as we can expect, Charlie Patino is available, as are Ollie Cooper, Jerry Yates, Filip Lissah and Mykola Kukharevych, Swans fans are desperate for him to be given a go. Maybe the club can’t spell his name right ? Luke Williams, the Swans head coach has a clear vision for tonight, “We know we have some really tough games coming up against top opposition, so we have to try and learn as much as we possibly can from the weekend game and understand why we have been successful. We now have to try and make that the standard we don’t drop from. We have to find our own way, and repetition of what we are working on is important. You will make mistakes as you work on things, but if you keep working on it, improving your understanding and improving your accuracy it will eventually become second nature to you and that builds confidence."

More later from the Indy.
