Away fans guide, Luke examined and a Liam Walsh history
Friday, 23rd Feb 2024 11:26 by Liam Walters

Luke Williams was as communicative as ever in todays press conference. Updates on injuries were fairly positive as the Swans head coach also complimented ex Sunderland manager Michael Beale on his management skills.

The news on Jamal Lowe is good, he should be back in full training next week, but Saturdays game is too soon. The same it seems for Azeem Abdulai but Williams stated they have to manage his move back in to the squad citing his previous injury. Overall for the games coming up it seems a few players including Josh Key could feature. He is back in full training, but again as per Azeem we donā€™t want a rush back to the squad affecting more issues.

Weā€™ve covered Liam Walsh on a number of occasions, it really isnā€™t looking good for him. His contract is up at the club end of the season, and with all his set backs its odds on he wonā€™t get another one. Weā€™ve been covering him since he joined the club. Thereā€™s a few features below but we do have more on our history news section. Just search on Liam Walsh.

And today Placheta had a go as well.

For those travelling to Sunderland hereā€™s some information for away fans.

Bus and train stations arenā€™t a million miles away and despite a lull in atmosphere in recent years at the stadium they still do have one of the best supports in the championship by a long way.

Safe travels and have a great weekend.
