World Cup Wales : Stop this now before someone is seriously injured or killed Tuesday, 25th Mar 2025 08:00 by Keith Haynes, owner / editor Swansea Independent A Cardiff City fan has been outed by his own club supporters and numerous others this morning. An incident in an Irish bar yesterday afternoon in Macedonia saw one person assaulted with injuries. We will withhold his name but understand (at last) football liaison officers from Wales have his details and will be dealing with him. The occurrence happened at the St Patrick pub in the Trade Centre, Skopje. Evidence is available at the bar if the police ‘deem’ it necessary to attend. The offender is pictured in our headline banner and below. This is the second time he has assaulted someone at a Wales away trip. ![]() He is known to the police and the Wales Fans Embassy who are involved in supporter liaison in Skopje for this evenings game. Overall the Fans Embassy look to provide the latest and safest advice to travelling Wales followers on specific information to make their stay a pleasant one. They did this on Sunday for a final day of mourning after the tragic events where fifty nine people died in a nightclub last week. This was in Kocani a hundred kilometres south of the capital. The ‘safe advice’ people should be noting now is very clear, steer clear of this person, it is obvious he isn’t safe to interact with. No matter the team a person supports assaulting people earns arrest and a banning order. The individual concerned in this latest news punched a Swansea City fan above the eye causing bleeding and cuts yesterday. Immediately on this occurring the pub emptied putting an end to the days gathering. Before that supporters of all clubs and numerous Cymru Premier sides mingled without incident for a number of hours. We have been told, “This guy was the same supporter who punched the brother of a well known ex Swansea City player in Montenegro, somehow he got away with it it, but hopefully now he will be arrested and banned. Nobody wants this. He was looking to assault fellow Wales fans. Everyone there was disgusted with his actions” Allegedly this person started playing a club song linked to Cardiff City looking to incite a reaction from fans in the bar. When he was told to stop by numerous people, including those in his own group he punched a fan who approached him. As stated the injured party (details witheld) had quite a severe cut above his eye. ![]() Wales fans announce their arrival in Skopje yesterday afternoon We hope to be able to provide more information later. This website has long had issues with South Wales Police regards negligent investigation over the past eighteen months. Last year a Cardiff City follower, Harri Ryan put disgusting posts on Twitter (mocking the death of Swansea City fan, Terry Coles) only for the police to leave the investigation too late to arrest him. Numerous people reported it officially. Our report and response was viewed by 340,000 people on Twitter. South Wales Police apologised and stated any further incidents will be dealt with immediately. A number of Twitter accounts reported another string of incidents relating to Terry Coles death in January, again South Wales Police haven’t taken any action to date. People need to feel safe from assault when on Wales trips. Harri Ryan’s social media accounts are now private and the person (Will Taylor from the Newport area) posting horrendous tragedy tweets in January has closed down his account on Twitter. We understand that the police have sufficient evidence to arrest this person and one other who remains on Twitter with the posts still on his timeline. To stop this once and for all the police need to make a statement by managing these inquiries fairly to warn others of the consequences. We also understand that if no action has been taken over the coming seven days on this recent event in January a full complaint will be made with legal redress to the crime commissioner for the force area, Emma Wools. It isn’t right that every time this occurs people are reminded of Terry’s death in Rotherham in 2000. He was trampled by a police horse. That goes for any supporter of any club who mocks the death of anyone on social media. It’s being tolerated by the police and therefore these instances are being condoned by the police. There are hundreds of examples of one punch assaults resulting in the death of the victim, one follower of this website went through the death of his young son in an incident just like this. Yesterday’s injury which isn’t the first time for this individual requires appropriate action by the police and FAW in Wales. This won’t go away we can assure you. ![]() ![]() Photographs open source Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
