Big season for Sheehan : It just gets harder for the Swans Tuesday, 5th Aug 2025 07:00 by Liam Walters Swansea City and an army of supporters not only have a six hundred and twenty five mile round trip as they go into their first game of the season, they also have the hardest start of all the Championship sides. OPTA have released the first nine games difficulty rating (power rating) explaining, ‘Focusing on the Championship, we looked at the average Opta Power Rating of each team’s opponents to measure fixture difficulty’ You can probably guess who is top of that table. Yes, the Swans as much as we try and explode certain myths - be that the same away trip at the start of the new season as last time, the six hundred and twenty five mile round trip or even the eleven hours on the road and that’s without a single stop !
