Swansea City : Vipotnik fee not set, it isn’t the way things are done Tuesday, 14th Apr 2026 14:23 by Keith Haynes Reports stating that Zan Vipotnik is valued at fifteen million pounds ‘couldn’t be further from the truth’ we are told by a source who has spoken to us on numerous occasions. And they should know too if you search on our reports on the relationship between Zān and his agent. We have had short contact with a trusted source who tells us that - ‘That just isn’t the way our owners do business, they are very experienced businessmen, and rule one in US business is never show your hand when you are in the driving seat’ We accept that fully, bar the fact that nobody at the club has even indicated a fee, and if they did they would be running into the hands of Brett Cravatt and Jason Cohen for a slam dunk sacking. We’ve all seen how these two valued owners react in adversity, ask Alan Sheehan and Richard Montague et al. So how a figure can be plucked out of the air, and such a low one has to be treated with disdain because that isn’t the way the Swans do business. It’s mere clickbait and those reporting this can start off their summer reports on Swansea City as down there pedalling nonsense. We know that certain key figures have seen at least one report and believe they are earning money for their website by mentioning Zān in a headline and then making up a story. The problem with this type of ‘journalism’ is that they know people will click on their false headline and then potentially will believe the text. That’s not to say that Zān won’t go for ten, fifteen or even twenty million pounds, the latter figure you would imagine is a starting price without any knowledge of the current mindset at the club. The obvious warning sign is there is never any direct speech or confirmation in these reports. In our case you only have to search on our reports and you can easily find our history on this player. And indeed how his time at Swansea has fluctuated from negative to extremely positive. It feels quite exhausting even now thinking about the summer window with these people about. However, as many of these reporters aren’t even connected to the Swans despite one telling us last year he had sources within the club. That was tested, utter nonsense, we can only hope they get caught up in the World Cup and leave their wild imaginations in the kitchen bin. Thats one batted away already and there’s still four games to go of the current season.
