Swansea City : Outlets ‘Filling’ you with unresearched nonsense
Friday, 8th May 2026 14:01 by Keith Haynes

Call it what you want but the holes in the latest reports connecting players to Swansea City are poorly researched, the obvious connection can only be to get clicks (or take your money) and move on.

We have already read that Leo Walta and his loan from IK Sirius is yet to be concluded. We responded to this nonsense with the report below on Wednesday.

That’s here ⚽️ Leo Walta put to bed

The lack of knowledge and research from these ‘hit and run’ accounts that prey on your curiosity is so evident when matters such a Walta are discussed. Then we hear yesterday of a seventeen year old player in Sweden being the subject of a ‘bid’ by the Swans. The player in question is Kevin Filling (below) who is registered to AIK Fotboll (Stockholm) a player with such a lack of experience the Swans would only consider such a signing for one of their age grade sides. Of course bar the fact that the Swans cannot bid for any player out of season until the transfer window opens. Then there is the small matter of fact that a seventeen year old cannot transfer to Swansea without his parents accompanying him and a valid educational pathway which the Swans do not have due to their category status.

Swansea City may have had discussions, but as we have always stated a telephone call, agent contact, meeting, valuation, official talks and bids are so different. Again this is a lack of understanding by paid journalists. This is nearly always cast side by numerous publications, even Wales On Line have fallen for it with Kevin Filling. The lack of intelligence surrounding the actual rules and application regards transfers lost in their desire to get you to pay for their reports is astonishing. Quoting a ‘bid’ when it isn’t within the transfer rulings, especially for an under 18 displays a complete lack of professional awareness in the subject they are talking about. That is why we have often seen our reports taken by publications and treated as their own. Taking profit from a website that raises awareness of brain tumours. That’s the level these outlets stoop to and it’s proven.

There could be a discussion surrounding a Filling transfer in January 2027 of course, but exceeding two million pounds for this player is very questionable. But we can categorically state, no bid has been made. Even over a matter of say a four year contract. We have already discounted transfer speculation this and last month and can only state ‘If these transfer stories are true then where is the follow up story that proves them’ ? Where are the properly researched reports that follow these hit and run links ?
