We are right at the heart of the summer window and there’s little about but Monday stirred up some controversy. Let’s have a review on that and of course on what may lay ahead. As ever, we strive to determine the best news for you but a lesson was also learned.

We received pretty decent information on Monday morning that Liverpool prospect, Trey Nyoni was or has agreed to sign for the Swans, we presumed on a loan deal. We were happy to reveal that despite some reservations as a picture of a player was put on X from a genuine Swans fan who revealed the signing of Moussa Yeo recently. It all seemed to match up. With absolutely no disrespect at all to the person who revealed the photo on X (good guy let me tell you) it all turned into a bit of a witch-hunt by the usual anonymous ‘living at home X pathetics’ This obviously clouds the issue and leads to other nonentities latching on genuinely believing threats and intimidation has no recourse. Thats the way of social media.

Since then we have been told (obviously) it wasn’t Trey Nyoni but he remains a top target for the Swans and they are working hard to get him into the club. The issue there is as we reported the other day. That’s below.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but really we should have left that report as our last comment on that particular transfer. However what came after we haven’t changed, it just shows how difficult this time of the summer is and how ridiculous social media is when combined with what seems to be a percentage of a generation facing some serious behavioral and interactive issues. We have now agreed that furnishing Swans fans with very early information of player news as per Monday will be kept within our own circle here at the Indy. People demand everything and there’s a whole lot of people who don’t respect or understand a player sighted and confirmed is good enough whilst further work is done, they attend to their daily lives for hours a day on social media. They do though seem very quick to pick up on the slightest error. At least we got a potential new signing out there early on. But that pathway won’t be open again from this website.

Like three Lisbie brothers.

This caused us a bit of confusion, we knew the Swans had a vested interest in Peterborough United player, Kyrell Lisbie and that has been for some months, but of course he has a twin brother who recently signed for Reading. My fault, we put up the wrong Colchester Lisbie, Kyreece, (prior to signing for Reading) Utterly confused I was saved by the subject of one of the books Phil Sumbler and I wrote. There is a Colchester Lisbie, as pictured, Kaion. Yes, the fast pace of the news that day took our legs away. Hands up.

You work it out ! We couldn’t.

So, where are the Swans as of this evening ? There is interest as we reported in Trey Nyoni, and that is right up there as a priority, however, there’s nothing more to add. We have been told that Kyrell Lisbie has been the subject of four bids from Championship clubs. Three bids were mentioned yesterday by Darragh MacAnthony the Posh owner. He will be revelling in this, it’s right up his street, and of course Barry Fry now in his eighties is his sporting director. Peterborough United rely on their annual transfers having signed Kyrell from Braintree last summer. The Swans and Millwall are two of the clubs interested. He is seen by the Swans as a back up winger, potentially left sided, but his form last season is pretty hard to ignore.

Darragh recently stated regards signing the twins, "My dream had been to get the twins into the same side and then sell them on for £15 million.” The Posh do have some heavy financial issues but there transfer awareness is top notch. Obviously Kyreece went to Reading, and to be honest that figure by Darragh pretty much sums up any summer window. He is one of footballs good guys for sure. Intelligent and very intuitive.

That’s two dealt with, Trey and Kyrell and bar the mystery aircraft sighted at Swansea airport which we supplied accurate information via our X account, but that source is purely electric. There’s absolutely no news whatsoever on Zān Vipotnik, which we have to say is surprising but we will continue to carefully look into that.
