Swansea City have potentially not finished their summer signing spree with a player being of interest who plays for a club in the north of England. Most certainly a talent this twenty one year old has been monitored by the Swans since Jamestown Analytics identified him as a player who would bring a lot of value to the club.

We are not going to name this player as the Swans have had a couple of their deals jumped on by other clubs this window, lazy work we know but the Swans are as ever being recognised as a club investing in talent.

The summer window has been busy, and Swans fans have been spoilt again with the amount of good work being done by all concerned including sporting recruiter, Ben Stevens. With his work and input from Jay Lefevre, and a very closely guarded scouting team, plus the Jamestown link we are seeing a Swans support filled with excitement and positivity with the season underway. If this advances at all we will let you know, but it is beyond doubt this young talent will be another boost to a squad we already see as being carefully assembled with promotion in mind.

Despite Vitor Matos wanting permanent signings this summer, and that’s been well evidenced since we reported it in May he easily had his head turned by the latest recruit, twenty three year old Jenson Seelt coming in on loan from Sunderland. And we don’t blame him, Jenson is very comfortable on the ball with exceptional ability in the air. However, the Swans are open to bring more players in where they can, that’s a fact but if no more materialise we can all agree it’s a happy window.

We’ve had a look at this player who seems a good fit, potentially as back up, but it seems the Swans maybe haven’t quite finished their business yet. We all know transfers don’t happen generally overnight but there is still movement for players coming in and indeed more will leave.
