A first half goal by Ian Henderson got the U's pre-season back to winning ways.

Henderson scored the only goal of the game just before half time, heading in a cross by Marc Tierney.

Keeper Ben Williams, playing his first full 90 minutes this summer, saved a penalty midway through the second half, securing United's record of not conceding a goal this pre-season.

U's: Williams, Wilson, Baldwin, Reid, Tierney, Bond, Izzet, Perkins, Henderson, Platt (Odejayi 60), Wordsworth. Subs not used: Cousins, White, Bender, Beevers, James, Vincent, Elito.
