The Swans look to continue an unbeaten start to the season tomorrow at the Liberty Stadium when they entertain Bristol City in what is our local derby of the season and a chance to head to the top of the league.

Two wins and two draws from our four games to date represents a good return for Graham Potter's start in English football and, after a superb performance against Leeds in midweek, Swans fans will be optimistic that we can continue that unbeaten run with another home win.

One of the things that made us so strong the last season we spent at this level was our home form - 50 from 69 points available - and a win tomorrow would make it seven points from nine to start this season.

A good crowd is expected from the game including the convoy of combine harvesters that will make the trip down the M4 to Swansea. A repeat of Tuesday night's atmosphere will be very welcome and a performance of the same ilk is also required from the players who certainly stepped up to the challenge that Leeds gave them in midweek.

One of my favourite ever Liberty Stadium moments is celebrating a 7-1 win over Bristol City that sealed the fate of Brian Tinnion who cut a lonely figure in the away dug out at the end of the game. The Swans may not reach those dizzy heights tomorrow afternoon but this is the kind of game that we have to be targeting a win in and will prove to be a good test to see if we can repeat the strong performance of Tuesday night.

One of the key questions will be whether Potter sticks with the same formation that he used on Tuesday with the three centre halves and wing backs option that causes Leeds so many problems. It is difficult to see him making too many changes to that team which looked like it had the creativity needed to score the goals - something we missed so badly last time around.

There could be an argument for a start for either Asoro or Montero with the Wurzels far less of an attacking force compared to Leeds but that for me is likely to be the only change that is possible as we look to go a 5th game into the season without defeat.

Interestingly, our record against Bristol City at home is not good - that aforementioned 7-1 win was one of only two wins in the league in the last 20 years with Bristol's only win in 25 years coming on their last visit here in November 2010.

Their midweek win at QPR was their first win of the season following draws against Bolton and Nottingham Forest and a home defeat last weekend against Middlesboro. Although not to be underestimated it should definitely be a game where we should expect a win, particularly if we are to challenge at the top end of the table this season.

The one thing that I think most Swansea fans will currently agree on is that the optimism is back at the Liberty as is the enjoyment around the football. After a couple of years of really feeling down watching the football looking forward to a game with the belief that we can win it is a great feeling and long may it continue.
