Nathan Dyer

Position:Winger
Contract Date:June 2014
Previous Clubs:Southampton, Burnley (Loan), Sheffield United (Loan)

Signed from Southampton in 2009 by Roberto Martinez for £400,000, after initially impressing on loan. The winger who links up so well with Angel Rangel on the right hand side terrorised defenders in the Championship and deservedly won the Player of the Year award – ahead of 27 goals Scott Sinclair.
Dyer then terrorised a lot of Premier League defenders in his first season and improved his goal-scoring with 5 League goals. There was talk of an England call-up too. Dyer scored 2 goals at Wembley in the League Cup Final at Wembley, to help win the trophy for the Swans.
