Cannot stay up with defensive outings like that. Far too much time and space allowed, as well as the sloppy footwork. With Nelsen on board we'd be six points ahead by now.

Embarrassing first half, gave fulham way too much space, 3rd goal no one put in a challenge. I actually felt a bit of relief as that faint bit of hope i had was extinguished. But then a much improved second half display went and raised my hopes again! Actually came out looking hungry for it and looked like a team that felt they could win. Tactics still concern me. cesar is clearly not comfortable kicking, yet we insist on making him launch it (not very far) I dont like seeing remy out wide, he was bought to score the goals to keep us up, yet he's stuck out on the wing first half. second half more central, scores and should of at least hit the target with another. But the biggest mistake was the 2nd+3rd substitutions, we seemed less likely to score from that point on

I genuinely had no idea - or had forgotten - Remy was playing until the moment he stepped forward to take (if that is the word) the penalty.
An awful night, humiliation then hope, but not really.
If it were done when 'tis done, then 'twere well
It were done quickly
But no doubt we'll beat Wigan on Sunday just to drag out the agony... :-(

Harry complained about Samba going up front for the last 10 minutes and going on about us being a passing team. Well chris obviously had no one to pass to in the lead up to their second goal and i think this points to our problems in the first half. The players just didn't look comfortable with the formation in the first half and that was obviously Harry's call.
Looked a different team in the 2nd half winning a corner after 7 seconds and the defensive frailties of our attack minded full backs not apparent.
Basically with Adel failing as an outlet in the middle of the park, our defensively weak wide pairings being called into question was always going to put pressure on the centre halves.
They couldn't handle it and Harry fails to counter curse of Mark Hughes again.

Hopefully he's more clued up as to what he can and can't do. Here's to back to back wins starting on Sunday.

Like Melaka up at 3am but after the first 30 mins I went back to bed, disgracful display I,ve seen better pub teams. we're rubbish and we're going down-league tables dont lie.

Another great win with accomplished performance. What looked like a potential heartbreaking clash with NA turned out to be a pretty uneventful encounter on the touchlines.

However, we have to thank Reading's toothless attackers for giving us the 3 points without more fight.

About the penalty and goal shouts:
1) Funny, one site just reported Hooi's tackle as "agricultural" - now, I have never been a big fan of Hooi's, but to be fair he did nothing wrong - a good challenge with absolutely no real reason for a pen.

2) Boruc - maybe at times today he looked over-confident, but he managed to push the ball off the line in the last dying moment: great decision. Absolutely no goal: and I'm trying to be truly unbiased here.

Overall: despite our defencive frailties (if not the panic would have been funny), what a joy to watch the guys going forward. A little more concentration/accuracy and we will be smashing.

This was a functional win rather than a dominant one, we did what we had to do, we didn't fire on all cylinders, if that doesn't make me a real supporter then so be it
