Another woeful performance with only 4 shots created all game and only one of those on target - a 25-30 yarder from Cedric, who does not usually get his efforts on target !!
Poor midfield selection from the manager, as we got out-muscled with our lightweights and played so badly and negatively, we would have made most teams look great today.
Again like against Huddersfield, we only started to play with 15minutes to go, but this week, the game had already been lost by then.
I can only hope that the International games and travelling across different time zones had an affect on team selection today. Those players given their chance to shine (JWP and Boufal) failed miserably, as they did against Wolves. Learn the lesson please and drop them. They are supposed to create and take chances, but did neither and I'm still struggling to fathom out how Boufal got so much height on his shot in the second half, not long before he was subbed !!
Oh well, hopefully the manager will pick a team capable of winning at Palace and then we may have a bit of confidence as we start to play the big boys !!

Pete Boggs - JWP was subbed at Half Time, so was only on the pitch for 45 mins.

JWP was subbed at Half Time, so was only on the pitch for 45 mins. THATS 45 MINUTES TO LONG.
Boufal looks a complete waste of money.

Vanmans, we all know Ward-Prowse shouldn't be in the starting lineup v Premier League opposition. Why was he? Was it down to Pellegrino and Puel or did they take their orders from Les Reed. After all, Les Reed has told us we have the best pool of midfielders in the Premier League so why would we need to play someone as useless as Ward-Prowse?

Poorest side we've played this season. God, they have some keeper though. Guy should be playing for PSG or Barcelona!

:((((((((( wahhh Watford where the best i seen them caught us off guard. Some players had a chance to step up and were pushed off the ball boufal wants too much of the ball so does tadic headless chicken comes to mind. They could be the creative force but have to think better into final third and release the ball earlier, two up front please. Eric Black was part of Aston Villas disappearing act i cant see him supporting MP enough to help him get the right formation and tactics. I think it was same for Puel.. looked a good side on paper, but we are found wanting after international breaks. we need high press and not to sit to deep sideways crept in again today. Cant afford to keep looking at the best formation and giving players run outs best 11 and stick with it.

Pellegrino another Puel in interview, dull! And the common theme between the two of them is that their teams play football matches like their interviews, dull and boring! How come we missed out on Marco Silva? Whilst relegated with Hull he definitely showed signs of getting to grips with Premier league football. Yet we get another manager with no Premier league experience!! Common theme coming through from TUI over the first few weeks of the season that some players seem disinterested and this was the case at the end of last season to. Something not right? Perhaps the players want to play differently and are bored with our set up and style of play?

My first live game of the season. Really impressed with the midfield 3 of Scowen, Luongo and Freeman. Thought Luongo was really unlucky not to score - he had a couple of fantastic shots.

The best team won today silva set his team up perfect and pressed and didn't allow us to play so you cannot take that away from them. Like most of us mentioned on here the end of last season to get silva. But hey what do we know.
As for us we looked out of sorts a tired lamina would have played better we really look like we are struggling to put mp ideas in place on the pitch but we have to give him time. With who we have played and only 5 points on board is not good and lose to palace and that will be worrying. On the plus side I really enjoyed my half time cheeseburger so saints are getting something right.
