Very disappointing yet again and relegation is a real concern when we keep firing away points through ill-discipline, turning over ball and poor defending. Mind u when Cisse was red carded we should have had a bigger cushion to see out the match. Currently level on points with Wolves and we could be eight points clear of them after the events of the last two matches.

There were three game changing incidents against Wolves yesterday. Up until the first and second of them occured this game only had one winner and everyone was just waiting for our second goal and the start of a rout.

1. The injury to Frimpong.
Wolves and MM came with a very defensive 4-5-1 lineup, and was trailing 1-0 and not even threatened once up until the point when Frimpong injured himself when challenging Barton in the 24th minute. Being 1-0 down at this moment in time MM decided to put on Ebanks-Blake instead of an like-for-like midfielder and changing to a more attacking 4-4-2. The game instantly changed, Wolves got a foothold for the first time in the game, with two up front unabling us to dominate possesion and play the ball out from defence. The first bit of belief started to grow within the Wolves team.

2. Cisse's sending off.
At first I was furious with Clattenburg. But after thinking it through my blame started to shift towards Cisse. In my mind this is not a red card, but the problem is Cisse's actions gave Clattenburg an oppurtunity. By the letter of the law, when you raise your arms towards an opponent you can be sent off. Had Clattenburg used some common sense though, he might, as so many other refs, have settled for a yellow card. Roger Johnson was not getting anywhere near Cisse all game, he decided to make a totally unnecessary challenge with no chance of winning the ball, he wanted to rattle Cisse. And he got more than he bargained for with Cisse's stupid mistake. Now Wolves belief really started to grow, and they ended the half with plenty of encouragement.

3. Early goal in the second half.
I was eagerly anticipating what Mark Hughes had in stall for the second half. But his plans with ten men went out the window within two minutes. Barton gave the ball away and Young showed, like against Newcastle away, that he struggles one against one inside the box. From being a game with only one winner, this was now a game with another winner unfortunately. And Wolves were allowed to run it their way until they got the lead.

It's totally dispiriting that we lose at home to a team below us who had not won a match in the last nine. I wonder if QPR are jixed at times, the way we provide a means for players and Clubs to end the 'bad runs' they are on. N'Zogbia hadn't scored in 18 appearances for Villa - QPR turn up and he breaks his duck!

I like Luke Young but as with the away match at Newcastle, his poor defending led to the goal (in this case Wolves's equaliser).

And I just don't see Barton as Captain material - maybe he doesn't see it himself. Perhaps if was given to someone else he might start playing a bit better.

All thar said, i'm confident we will stay up. Cisse will hopefully learn his lesson, Zamora gives us a physical presence up front thats been lacking and Adel had his best game in months. Next week's trip to Blackburn has become a real 'six pointer' but i think we'll be ok. C'mon U R'ssssahhh!

I have repeatedly voiced two concerns over QPRs prospects for premiership survival

1) Too many new players
2) Not enough time

Nothing that happened at Villa midweek or W12 yesterday did anything at all to reassure me on either point

Stability, maturity, continuity and consistency do the job every time. I couldn't help noticing both Swansea and Norwich won again yesterday displaying these traits

In recent games the outstanding performances have come from last year's Championship winners Helguson, Smith, Buszaky, Kenny on Wednesday, Tarrabt yesterday. Shaun Derry for all his lack of pace did a great job shielding the defence from O'Hara, once he went off - you saw what happened.

How can Tayote, Daikate, Onuoha, Cisse, Zamora - that's half a team - be expected to forge a winning mentality, team ethic and reliable formation and tactics in 15 games - or 12 in Cisse's case?

Yesterdays game was a repeat prescription of so many games this season. We have the worst second half record of any Premiership club and suffer from a serious lack of on-field leadership. Barton and SWP both seem to have the demons of doubt on their shoulders, Luke Young looks exposed every time there's an attack on our right. Ferdinand is distracted by Terry according to both Sparky and Rio

Are there three teams worse than QPR in the Premiership?
How do get them below us?

In the immortal words of Matt Bellamy - Time Is Running Out

We need some luck and will probably have to rely on moments of individual brilliance recently shown by Buszaky, Tarrabt, Smith and Cisse

Don't think we can rely on teamwork.

If someone from Mars landed and asked '"what exactly does it mean to be a QPR supporter?" I would simply say - 'watch this match and you will know'!!!

After watching the match the Martian would surely ask me "why do you put yourself through such pain and agony. Surely your stress level must be sky high?"

My reply would be "I dont really know why but I'd rather support QPR than anyone else" :)

It just wouldn't be the same would it?

I thought Lee was class when he made his first appearance at Millwall and he confirmed it today. We now have incredible strength in depth in the striking department and midfield. Apart from Holmes out on loan we have Barnard, De Ridder, Falque, and Barnard who can't even make the bench. What a contrast to our neighbours down the road.

Very good team display against medocre opposition, that said Jack Cork had an outstanding game in the middle of the park and Lee's goal was just what we have been waiting for.

Thought we edged it overall. Defensively we look a lot better than we did Pre Christmas and I think that shows (One goal conceded in 3 games) we kept a very good and proven striker quiet today.A result at Charlton would be nice.....we can all dream !!!!
