Sorry Dan, went there the other day. Starters far to pricey. I ordered a 16oz rump which i like rare, so that was easy meat for them (excuse the pun) to give me a large slab of frying steak which was totally tasteless! But I appreciate people enjoy the place. |  |

That's one of my bug bears with steak - order a rump because it's a tasty cut and it's assumed you know f*ck all about steak and therefor they can serve you any old rubbish. I recently had a slice of silverside presented to me as rump and I've also had flank and topside passed off as the same, even the supermarkets are cutting up joints and presenting it on their shelves as rump.
While I'm at it, why do they think it's acceptable to serve over cooked steak? Why ask how I want it cooked if all you can do is well done? | |
