He played pretty well last night. That'll be him dropped on Saturday then. And captain Jack will return. |

I remember me & my lad going up to Watford a few seasons ago and the Watford player grabbed the crossed ball with his hand & threw it into the net to draw 2-2 late on. One of the most blatant handballs you'll ever see. So... Karma... what goes around comes around etc etc. |

With Leicester losing last night & Leeds losing today, looks like no one wants to get promoted! |

That's my birthday present sorted then. My defence will be 'it was purely down to Nike your honour for their poor quality materials' as I'm arrested walking around M&S Hedge End ladies underwear section in said kit... |

Yeah, they've got The Specials, The Selecter, SKA, Two-Tone, King to boast about. We've got Craig David and... erm... ... umm... |

The problem with Russell Martin is that he's out of his depth somewhat & has a limted ability to manage or handle higher profile players. He managed at MK Dons and Swansea before us and, no disrespect to either of them, Saints are a bigger step up. I know that statement has a touch of arrogance to it, but it's true. And while there's always the odd British manager who does manage to step up to much bigger things, they're few and far between really. The last Welsh flop was testament to that. It's also the reason why we sacked the legend that is Nigel Adkins. Leicester, Leeds, even WBA and Norwich - all foreign managers. The only one that isn't is Kieran McKenna at Ipswich... and I'd have him and his style of play over RM any day of the week! |

He needs dropping. I know he's young etc etc - but he needs dropping & taken out the firing line. I couldn't give a toss who replaces him - I really couldn't - because they simply aren't going to be any worse than him... and that includes McCarthy. The stats don't lie. When will someone - anyone - at this football club wake up to the fact that for far too long now, we have had one sh1t keeper after another for too long? |

Ironically, the best (and only save) in those highlights was at the very end - and from the Ipswich keeper. . |

"Martin brought in Drewe Broughton - known as The Fear Coach - to support himself and the players in the emotional side of performance..." It's f*cking football FFS! Jesus H Christ... |

He won't drop Captain Jack and revert back to the defence that served us well during that long, unbeaten run. So, it's as you were at Blackburn. RM won't be told what to do by anyone. He knows best. Following the defeat at Ipswich, RM said (regarding KWP) "No one gets an automatic start in the side". What he forgot to add was "...unless you're Jack Stephens". So, I'm expecting 'Mr Stubborn' to do things his way once again and shoehorn Jack in once again, leave several of our best players on the bench, have no plan B if it goes tits up, and continue with the tippy-tappy stuff across the back (going nowhere) when we're in desperate need of a goal. It's all so predictable - even before the team is announced and a ball is kicked. |

One of the reasons RM was hired was because he was used to working with a tiny budget at Swansea. He'll be more at home next season when we've sold the best players & we're left with average joes and the nippers from the academy. |

I'm not being mean, honest, I like the lad. But what does Smallbone bring to the party away at Ipswich? He's one of RM's favourites, that's what. Same goes for Captain Jack, Manning, and Baz. None of them are quite good enough (or consistent enough) at Championship level. The only thing they all have in common is a very brown nose. |
