I don’t see this new coaching set-up being a means of providing a succession plan for Ralph.
He is still going to be by far the most dominant presence on the touchline.
I fear we are going to regret not making a change at the top now, particularly when you factor in our form over the last 3 months of last season.

Che - regularly left on the bench last season by Ralph
Adam Armstrong - regularly totally excluded by Ralph
With a bit of occasional back-up from Redmondinho and Little Theo.
At this rate, I’d take Ings coming back….. |

Signed a new contract.
Over £350,000 a week apparently.

Think we might see some activity on the ins and outs.
I believe 30 June is when a number of contracts end, and also when players receive “loyalty bonuses“ (sigh..…) for having been at their club for the last season.
Still think we need 8 or 9 players, and that’s before we lose any such as Bednarek; wouldn’t be surprised if Oriol departed either.
Need to get cracking if we are going to have a chance of retaining our 16th Place Trophy. [Post edited 25 Jun 21:29]
