Well that is just frankly amateurish and embarrassing.
I don't think we do struggle to score goals necessarily. Of those teams above us, we've scored more than Derby, Stoke, Preston, Watford and Millwall and as many as Bristol City. At the other end only Leicester, West Brom and Sheff Weds (obvs) have conceded more.
As you say, conceding 14 in three games against the top three and only scoring three in return doesn't help
Phil Parkes for me. Was absolutely gutted when he was sold. I know we were on the way to relegation and I suppose funds needed to be generated for the upcoming rebuild in division two but it made no sense to sell him to someone who would be an upcoming rival in the division we were going to be playing in the following season.
