Boycott it, how dare they have to rearrange a fixture. |

When we're comfortable in a match, with a hectic schedule coming up, I'm very happy to see a bit of energy conservation from the team. |

Dieseruvwe returning could not have come at a better time. I thought Smith played well whilst he was on the pitch today. To me it looked as if Hendo was trying to 'coach' him as they played. May have just been imagining that hoping he stays as player/coach forever? |

" i thought we were too slow moving it into our opponents half today and the main culprit was Hogan." I think you're being very harsh with that. Truro didn't push to press him when on the ball so he didn't need to move it quickly. Even after the early goal he was afforded time to walk forward with it and make sure he picked the right pass allowing us to keep possession and build. EEL would have been asked to play exactly the same way. |

Great performance today with some sensible squad rotation. Another clean sheet. Got to give credit to Hogan he was excellent after not being involved for some time. Strange that we played Solihull after their 3-3 with Carlisle... then Truro today after their 3-3 with Brackley... and on Tuesday we play Southend after they were involved in a 3-3 today at Boston... |

Post, Crossbar, Missed pen... 2-0 up. Decent half. Borehamwood one down but have the Braintree defence forgotten to get on the coach to York? |

We did what we needed to do against "free scoring Solihull"... don't let them have the ball. Should have had one first half (our miss of the season?) and the second half I was thinking it felt like last season, all the ball and nothing created, but his season is different - we find a way to win, not throw it away (our goal of the season so far?). Get this on repeat. [Post edited 21 Jan 22:02]

I had just been moaning that nobody was having a go from distance with that wind behind then boom... screamer. Edit - York batter Carlisle again. FGR held by Alty [Post edited 21 Jan 21:47]

On tonight's games (Didn't want to make a new thread). Watching Boreham Wood v Scunthorpe and it's been a very one-sided first half. Scunthorpe have looked good and Boreham Wood just aren't in it at all. 3-0 at half time but Scunny could have been completely out of sight. |

Under budget? Money left to steal Abdulmalik? |

Disgraceful from Senegal. My opinions: Morocco should have been allowed to take the Penalty whilst the Senegal keeper was off sulking with the others. The penalty was awful, but with everything that happened he's had wayyyyyyy too much time to think about it due to Senegal's actions. If it's taken straight away does he do that? Should every Senegal player that sulked off been at least booked for what can probably be classed as time wasting? The Senegal manager nearly cost his team that title because he's a cry baby. Robbie Savage would probably do the same. The winning goal was a cracker. This is wild behind the goal all game too... [Post edited 19 Jan 13:21]

Manny D's finish for his goal was excellent. Agree with Jim he should have had 3. Perry was very solid, but he will have tougher games. Bilongo was hard to judge. Looks fast and he's tall so could be a great target on the touchline for Whatmuff at times a long ball may be needed. Completely different option. Whatmuff returning looked to completely settle the defence. I rated Broome but young Oli really does look like he is going to be some player. |

You'd think Carlisle had lost 4-0 reading their messageboard. York's diving tells the story of why Pearce gets so many penalty goals. Savage losing his head is one of my favourite parts of all their losses. He tries to take personal credit for everything good that happens but loves to throw people under the bus when it doesn't go his way. When Macc beat Palace he was trying to give them credit but had to make a point about Dawson being a player he brought in and how he was their best player. Horrible man, bang average player, hopefully a failure as a manager. [if he ever comes here and does well I will take this all back and will worship him like a god like a good little fickle football fan] |
