Lack of Pace (slowest starting 11 in the history of football?) 09:25 - Feb 2 with 1348 viewswestberksr

just chatting to my PA about Saturday's line up (to justify why she's come into work and i have a face like a Rottweiller licking piss off a stinging nettle) and i was wondering if Saturday's line up could be attributed with the title of the slowest starting line up in the history of QPR, the Prem, world football in general?

the front 6 of Henry, Barton, Niko, Fer, Vargas and Charlie, backed up by the defence of Hill, Dunne, Isla and Onuoha.

apart from Vargas and Onuoha (possibly Isla) would any of these even get up to a speed that looked more than a gentle jog for a typical Premiership player (or sunday pub player)?

not criticisng individuals and their respective attributes but is there an Opta stat that shows average mph of players rather than distance covered?
